These terms govern your use of AutoTreeGen while the product is in private alpha. They are intentionally short for this stage; a full agreement will replace them — and be reviewed by counsel — before paid tiers and data upload open. By using this site you agree to the terms below.
What we offer
AutoTreeGen is an evidence-based genealogy tool. It surfaces sources, DNA signals and conflicts and records a status and confidence for each conclusion. It is a research aid: it does not replace your judgement, and a conclusion it marks “confirmed” is still yours to verify against the cited evidence.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact details and use the site lawfully.
- Only upload data you have the right to use, and respect the privacy of living people in your tree. Data handling is described in the privacy notice.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
Availability and changes
The product is early and provided “as is”, without warranties, during the alpha. Features may change or be unavailable. We may update these terms; for material changes we will post the updated version on this page.
